Universal Sevak University Trust USUT is an educational trust
promoted with the sole objective of spreading education among the poor,
downtrodden, especially school drop-out children aged 14 years and above. The
founder Trustee of USUT Guruji Acharya Vineyvinekar, aged about 65 years is a
engineer by qualification and profession . He hails from a family of Doctors
had turned to and had attained spiritual yogi state. The ideals of Guruji is
building a healthy loving society. With his guidance they are running an IIPC.
The school dropout children if left unattended turn into working in unorganised
sector like coolies, house hold assistance, engaged in petty thefts and become
socially boycotted in the society.
USUT have joined hands with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). We have been approved as a IGNOU-ISTE program centre (IIPC) and we are offering 4 courses in Automobile Engineering with the duration of 6 months for each course. a) Automobile basic functions & Maintenance b) Automobile Body Repair works c) Automobile Painting works d) Automobile Electrical works The courses will help them to become self sustained and to acquire a formal Institutionally approved qualification enabling them to enter into jobs in the organized sector. In this connection we are proud to say that we have a tie up with M/s DSC Motor P Ltd, a Multinational Car dealing company cum Service Centre. Incidentally Mr.D.Selvakumar, director service of DSC Motor P Ltd , is the Managing Trustee of USUT and he has assured of providing practical on the job training to these candidates at any of its 3 Service Centers situate in Chennai.
